INFORMATION ON HANDLING AND PROTECTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA:

1. Introduction
Pursuant to article 13 of the Italian law no. 196/2003 - "Code concerning the protection of personal data" (hereafter referred to as the "Code") – Provincia di Verona Turismo Srl, in its position as ‘Data Controller’, must provide  information about the use of your personal data.  
2. Source of personal data
  Your personal data are collected by recording the data provided by you,  as the interested party, when applying for services
3. Aims of data handling
Personal data are handled for the following purposes:
a) sending publications
b) sending newsletters (if requested)
c)conducting surveys to monitor the satisfaction of users with the services offered or requested 
To ensure the efficiency of the service, your personal data may be used for technical tests and checks.
4. Data handling methods
With regard to the purposes described,personal data handling is carried out by means of manual, computerised and telematic tools using logics that are closely correlated with the above-mentioned aims and guarantee the safety  and confidentiality of the personal data.
Once the aims have been achieved, the personal data will be deleted or transformed into an anonymous format.
5.Optional nature of data provision
Providing personal data is optional, but if it is not provided, it may not be possible to offer the services described under point 3 ("Aims of data handling").
6. Categories of subjects to whom personal data may be communicated, or which may see personal data in their role as data processors or handlers
Your personal data will only be seen by employees of the Province of Verona responsible for data handling.
Exclusively for the purposes described under point 3 (Aims of data handling), your personal data may also be seen by companies providing services to the Province of Verona, which have been appointed as data handlers and which guarantee the same level of data protection.
7. Rights of the interested party
Current Italian legislation regarding personal data protection allows you to exercise specific rights, as described under article 7 of the "Code", and quoted below:
1. A data subject shall have the right to obtain confirmation as to whether or not personal data concerning him/her exist, regardless of their being already recorded, and communication of such data in intelligible form.
2. A data subject shall have the right to be informed:
a) of the source of the personal data;
b) of the data handling purposes and methods;
c) of the logic applied to the data handling, if the latter is carried out with the help of electronic means;
d) of the identification data concerning the data controller, data handlers and the representative appointed in compliance with article 5, paragraph 2;
e) of the entities or categories of entity to whom the personal data may be communicated or who may get to know said data in their capacity as designated representative in the State’s territory, or persons in charge of the data handling.
3. A data subject shall have the right to obtain:
a) updating, rectification or, where interested, integration of the data;
b) erasure, conversion into anonymous form, or blocking of data that have been handled unlawfully, including data whose retention is unnecessary for the purposes for which they have been collected or subsequently handled;
c) certification to the effect that the operations described under points a) and b) have been notified, also regarding their contents, to the entities to whom the data was communicated or disseminated, unless this requirement proves impossible or involves a manifestly disproportionate effort compared to the right that is to be protected.
4. A data subject shall have the right to object, in whole or in part:
a) on legitimate grounds, to the handling of personal data concerning him/her, even if they are relevant to the purpose of the collection;
b) to the handling of personal data concerning him/her, where it is carried out for the purpose of sending advertising materials or direct selling, or for market research or commercial advertising purposes.
8. Data controller and handlers
