VALPOLICELLA: HOME TO FINE ART AND FINE CUISINE

Villas, Romanesque churches and stately farm houses, all of which can be glimpsed at through the olive-groves and vine-yards.
The Valpolicella is a harmonious blend of history, culture,folklore and tradition, all enriched by a mouthwatering culinary tradition and the hospitality  of its inhabitants. The wholesome traditional dishes of the area accompanied by the finest of its fruity, full-bodied wines-the Valpolicella, Recioto and Amarone.
Here Nature reigns supreme in the flowering cherry and peach orchards in Spring and can be seen, at its best, in the juicy grapes fresh for the picking in Autumn.
Dolcè DOLCE'

This is the southernmost area of the Comune of Dolcè which lies along the River Adige next to the north-western border of the Valpolicella
Fumane FUMANE

The name "Fumane" is derived from the smoke produced by charcoal-burners. Cavalo, Mazzurega, Breonio and Molina are all villages in the area
Sant'Ambrogio di Valpolicella SANT'AMBROGIO DI VALPOLICELLA

9.112 inhabitants spread over a surface area of 23.50 kmq. Nearby villages are Gargagnago, San Giorgio,Domegliara and Ponton.
Sant'Anna d'Alfaedo SANT'ANNA D'ALFAEDO

The Comune of Sant'Anna is situated in the northern section of the Valpolicella and is dominated to the north by the impressive Corno d'Aquilio.
