Domus Nova

The Domus Nova closes the circle of palaces which frame the Piazza dei Signori, exactly in front of the Palazzo del Governo.

During the Viscount domination (1389), this building was the house and the office of the Podestà, in addition to be the house of the judges (also called Palazzo dei Giudici, Palace of Judges). During the years it has been restored, and in one of the different projects for its structure there was a direct passage to Piazza Erbe, as you can see today in the arch of the centre.

It is linked to Palazzo della Ragione with an arch.

Address: Via della Costa, 37121 Verona.
