Lapidary Inscriptions Museum

Instituted in 1745 by the history and culture Veronese lover Scipione Maffei, the museum collects epigraphs and other finds of different periods: Etruscan, Greek, Roman. The material is exposed in chronological sections, in the rooms, in the court and in the basements.

The museum is in a special position, between the medieval walls which connected Piazza Bra with Castelvecchio. The project of the museum is by the architect Arrigo Rudi.

From the internal rooms is possible to access to the passage under the walls of Portoni della Bra.

: Standard € 4.50 – Reduced € 3.00 (groups from 15 people, students 14-30 and over 60) –  € 1.00 (Schools and kids 8-13) -  € 1.00 the 1° Sunday of the month for everyone (from January to May and from October to December) – Free entrance  with the Verona Card.
