Pumpkin jam

A new way to prepare pumpkin.

Ingredients
  • A pumpkin
  • 350 grams of sugar each half kilo of pumpkin
  • A stick of Vanilla
  • A lemon
Preparation
Clean the pumpink from seeds and rind. Weight it and cut it in thick pieces. Add sugar. Put it on a gentle flame together with a vanilla stick and lemon peel, mix often till the pumpink and the sugar are melted enough. Then, remove the vanilla, leave it to cool and fill the jars. Store in a dry and cool place.
