As the name suggests, the Sanvigilini biscuits were prepared for the first time at Punta San Vigilio in the well-known guesthouse which was run, until the end of the 60's, by  Mr. Leonard Walsh. He cooked the biscuits after the Second World War, as the British Prime Minister Winston Churchill came at Punta San Vigilio for a short journey.
