(for 6 persons)

  • 200 g of almond
  • 200 g of flour type 00
  • 200 g of yellow flour from maize
  • 150 g of sugar
  • 200 g di butter room temperature (or 100g of lard and 100g of butter)
  • some vanillia
  • 3 yolks from eggs
  • grated peel of 1 lemon


Chop up coarse the almonds, without peels. Prepare on the table a fountain with the two flours, in the middle you put the yorlk of eggs, the sugar, the almonds, some vanillia, the grated pel of lemon and some salt. After a first mix unite the butter in flakes and knead all together, the past will not become homogeneous, but lumpy. Give all in a baking tin, covered with butter or cooking paper, to form a layer of 2-3 centimetre without to crush the lumpys. Bake teh sweet in the oven for about one hour at 180° C.


Powder veil sugar on the sweet and serve it on room temperatur.
