Botanical Gardens - Monte Baldo

The Novezzina Botanical Garden is situated on the eastern slope of Monte Baldo, in the municipal district of Ferrara di Monte Baldo.

Here botanists and visitors can get in touch with the precious biodiversity of Mount Baldo.

A rich collection of the indigenous species of Monte Baldo can be observed in complete relaxation, surrounded by silence and the vivid colours of the changing seasons.

In the splendid Panorama of Ferrara Hollow on Monte Baldo, facilities as pic-nic areas and itineraries have been created to permit visitors to get better acquainted with the eastern part of the “Hortus Europae”.

From here a series of naturalistic trails, clearly marked with signs showing the itineraries and the value of the area: from the various types of woods, flora and fauna, to the remembrances of World War !
